Business Class Upgrade

The first modernised Lufthansa Airbus A380 has officially taken off for Los Angeles. 🌴🇺🇸
On 23 April, the aircraft “Mike-Charly” departed Munich as flight LH452, marking the launch of Lufthansa’s upgraded long-haul experience.
✈️ New Business Class Experience
After approximately 12 weeks of refurbishment at Elbe Flugzeugwerke in Dresden, the aircraft now features a completely redesigned Business Class on the upper deck:
➡️ 68 seats with direct aisle access
➡️ Seat width: 58 cm
➡️ Bed length: minimum 2 metres
➡️ Flexible privacy partitions
➡️ Fully upgraded inflight entertainment system
🌍 Fleet Modernisation
Lufthansa plans to upgrade seven additional A380 aircraft by mid-2027, further enhancing its premium long-haul offering.
